Glen Echo, A Quaint Small Town In Maryland
The small town of Glen Echo resides in the an area in Maryland that started its history when brothers Edwin and Edward Baltzley bought a piece of land along river now called Potomac. They referred to their land as “The Washington Rhine” as they wanted to have their piece of land with stone castles. They then referred to it as Glen-Echo-on-the-Potomac.
With the brothers envisioning their stone castles, they opened a quarry to provide stones to their fortress. One of the five that they opened is still operating right now in Seven Locks Road. Considering a Glen Echo Real Estate would be a brilliant idea especially during the summer since the area is elevated from DC and thus it has cooler summers.
