The history of Kensington keeps the antiquity alive and well with an operating train-station and the walking tour that is provided to those who are interested in learning about the phenomenal past.  If you prefer to enjoy the scenery on your own time, you can always visit one of the seven parks that this town has to offer- bringing healthy activities and nature to a town notorious for being a “refuge from Washington D.C.” 

The Kensington Arts Theater, Historical Society and Town Center offer events of all cultural tastes, bringing families together as the same as they did over 120 years ago.  This small town is continuously expanding, and ready to burst at its borders with the amount of opportunity for familial involvement in the area.
