The middle school education (grade 6 to 8) is provided by Aberdeen Middle School while grades 9 to 12 can be obtained at Aberdeen High School.

The city of Aberdeen has a humid climate but is still very ideal for lots of activities to be enjoyed within the city’s perimeters. The city government has maintained its own facilities of recreation and entertainment for its residents and visitors to use. 

 

Located across the city hall with exact address at 60 North Parke Street is the Festival Park. It has long been the home of many community events such as Christmas Streets and the Farmers Market. The park has restrooms, a pavilion, picnic tables, and playground. From these available amenities, the park itself is a perfect spot where friends and families can share lunch, hangout with, and just spend the weekend without spending much!

 

For skate enthusiasts, the North Deen Skatepark at Post Rad is just the perfect hangout place for skater boys and skate girls. Aside from showing tricks and moves in here, the place is also ideal to meet new friends.

 

If you are a pet-loving individual and you just can’t leave the house without the company of your dog, then the venue for you is the Victory Street Dog Park. Utilizing ⅓ acre of land, the park is complete with exercise tunnels, fire hydrants, ramps and soon a water park will be added. Small and huge breeds of dog can enjoy play time and training time without their owners getting worried of them as there are separate sections for such breeds.

 

Aberdeen is a desirable city to live in considering that it has a high health index and employment rate. These factors coupled with quality education obtained in the city’s schools and the recreation facilities that are available for use, the city is an ideal and convenient place to live.
